We Support, Not Replace
FaithConnect is designed to complement your ministry, not compete with it. We encourage all members to remain active in their local church and to involve their pastors in their courtship journey.
Grounded in Scripture
All our teaching and guidance is based on foundational biblical principles. We do not promote any particular denomination's doctrine and encourage users to verify our principles against Scripture.
We Refer Back to You
We actively encourage couples to seek pre-marital counselling from their own church leaders. Our preparation resources are supplementary, not a replacement for pastoral guidance.
Your Members Are Safe
Every member is verified through references, including a religious reference from their pastor or church leader. We take safeguarding seriously.
We are not a church and do not provide church membership, sacraments, or pastoral authority.
We do not teach doctrine or theological positions beyond foundational biblical principles about marriage.
We do not replace the role of pastors, elders, or church-based pre-marital counselling.
We do not encourage members to leave their churches or reduce their church involvement.
Reference Verification
We contact pastors and church leaders as part of our verification process, ensuring members are genuinely connected to a faith community.
Guided Introductions
First meetings are supervised by trained Christian mentors, providing accountability and safety.
Marriage Preparation
Our resources prepare singles for courtship and marriage, but we always recommend couples complete formal pre-marital counselling with their church.
Ongoing Support
We offer counselling support, but encourage members to involve their pastors in significant relationship decisions.
Will you be teaching my members theology?
No. We provide practical relationship guidance based on biblical principles, but we do not offer theological teaching that replaces church discipleship. We encourage all members to remain under the spiritual covering of their local church.
Are you trying to take members away from churches?
Absolutely not. We require members to be active in a church community and we verify this through pastoral references. Our goal is to help your single members find godly spouses while remaining committed to their local church.
What if I have concerns about your teaching?
We welcome dialogue with church leaders. Please contact us at support@faithconnect.love and we'll be happy to discuss our approach, share our materials, and address any concerns you may have.
Can I be involved in my member's journey?
Yes! We encourage members to keep their pastors informed. You're also welcome to reach out to us if you have questions about a member's involvement with FaithConnect.
What denomination are you?
FaithConnect is operated by Youth With A Global Vision (Charity No. 1142251), a non-denominational Christian organisation. We serve Christians from all Bible-believing denominations and do not promote any particular church tradition.
