FaithConnect is a Christian relationship platform operated by Youth With A Global Vision (Company No. 05458750; Charity No. 1142251). Our mission is to help Christians build sincere, marriage-focused relationships in a way that honours Christ.

To safeguard every member of our community, the following standards apply to all users.

1. Love & Respect

Treat all members with dignity, humility, and kindness, reflecting the character of Christ in every interaction.

Prohibited Conduct Includes:

• Harassment, bullying, or shaming
• Threats, manipulation, or coercive control
• Mocking someone's faith, background, appearance, or struggles
• Spiritually abusive language or guilt-tripping

2. Authenticity & Truthfulness

You must:

• Be truthful about your identity, intentions, and Christian faith
• Use your real photos and accurate profile information

You must not:

• Impersonate someone else
• Upload fake images or AI-generated likenesses
• Hide information that could impact safety or trust

Honesty is foundational to a safe and God-honouring community.

3. Purity & Intentions

FaithConnect is not for casual dating or sexual exploration. It is a space for serious, Christ-centred relationships rooted in purity.

Strictly Not Allowed:

• Inappropriate or flirtatious messages
• Requests for explicit photos, videos, or stories
• Sexualised chat or discussions of fantasies
• Any content that dishonours biblical boundaries

4. Boundaries & Communication

All communication should be respectful, consent-based, and free from pressure.

• If someone says "no" or "stop," it must be respected immediately
• You may not guilt or pressure someone into calls, meetings, or relationships
• Users may block others at any time, without explanation

FaithConnect honours your emotional safety.

5. Privacy & Safe Sharing

To protect yourself and others:

• Do not share another user's photos, chats, or contact info without consent
• Do not take screenshots of Guided Introductions or private content
• Keep private details secure until both parties feel ready to share

Your full name, church name, and phone number are only shared at the FaithMatch stage, with clear mutual consent.

6. Meeting Process

To prioritise safety:

• All first meetings must be a Guided Introduction with a Courtship Mentor present
• Personal contact details should only be exchanged after FaithMatch
• Offline meetups must be mutually agreed and handled with prayerful caution

7. Behaviour Tracking

We gently monitor patterns to keep the community healthy. We may limit your matching if you show repeated patterns of:

• No-shows to Guided Introductions
• Last-minute cancellations
• Repeated discomfort caused to others

Excused no-shows — due to technical issues, emergencies, or severe anxiety — do not count against you and may be rescheduled; only unexcused no-shows are tracked here.

Our goal is restoration, but we also protect those at risk.

8. Prohibited Behaviour (Zero Tolerance)

Immediate removal and referral may occur in cases of:

• Scamming, money requests, or financial grooming
• Sexual harassment, exploitation, or predatory behaviour
• Threats, intimidation, or emotional abuse
• Hate speech, racism, or discrimination
• Promotion of teachings or actions clearly contrary to biblical truth
• Criminal conduct, domestic abuse, or known safeguarding concerns

9. Reporting & Protection

If someone makes you feel unsafe or violates these guidelines:

In-App Reporting:

• Visit their profile and click the flag icon (🚩) in the top-right corner
• Select a reason: Inappropriate Content, Harassment, Fake Profile, Spam, Underage, or Other
• Optionally provide additional details
• Submit - our admin team will review within 24-48 hours

Blocking:

• Block a user to immediately hide their profile from your account
• They won't be notified and you won't see each other again
• Manage blocked users in Settings → Blocked Users

10. Right to Suspend or Remove Accounts

We may suspend or permanently deactivate accounts:

• For any violation of this policy
• If we believe someone may be at risk
• Based on verified reference feedback, behavioural patterns, or internal risk assessments

We may act even if full evidence cannot be disclosed, as safety takes priority over transparency in sensitive cases.

11. Healthy Guidance

FaithConnect admins may:

• Review messages where a safety concern is present
• Join or facilitate Guided Introductions
• Gently remind users of Christ-like conduct when needed

Our approach is pastoral, not punitive. We seek growth, not shame.
